    Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in an 8-room Level II NICU serving infants greater than 32 weeks gestation, weighing 1,500 grams or more, with ventilation needs under 24 hours
    • Operate and monitor specialized equipment including ATOM Beds/Isolettes, Phillips Monitors, NicView Camera System, and specialized lighting
    • Administer and manage medications using the Accudose medication system
    • Document patient care accurately using EPIC Stork electronic charting
    • Float as needed to serve as a Transition Nurse in LDRP within scope of practice
    • Collaborate with an in-house intensivist, hospitalist, and anesthesiologist available 24/7
    Required Qualifications
    • Active California RN license required at time of submittal
    • Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
    • No first-time travelers will be considered
    • BCLS certification required
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
    • Proficiency with ventilators and IV starts required
    • Must maintain a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility; local travelers are not eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • S.T.A.B.L.E. Program certification preferred
    • Experience with EPIC Stork charting system preferred
    • Flexibility with self-scheduling and willingness to float within skill set
