Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Level II–III NICU setting with patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, and occasionally 1:4
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including HFOV, conventional ventilators, CPAP, and NIPPV
- Assist with and support surgical procedures (excluding cardiac and neurosurgical cases) and respiratory support interventions
- Deliver specialized care for micro-premie patients, including central line management and ostomy care
- Document patient care accurately using CPN and Meditech EMR systems
- Float to the Nursery as needed and participate in weekend rotation (4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule)
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of Level II–III NICU experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Proficiency with NICU equipment including HFOV, conventional vents, CPAP, NIPPV, and central lines
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Level III–IV NICU experience strongly preferred
- Experience with micro-premie care and ostomy management
- Familiarity with CPN and/or Meditech EMR platforms
