Registered Nurse – NICU

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days (0700–1900) | 3×12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional nursing care appropriate to the patient's age and condition in a NICU setting, in accordance with evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, patient, and family to promote patient health and support individualized nursing and medical plans of care.
- Float between multiple campuses as needed to support staffing requirements.
- Float to PICU and CVICU as required by unit needs.
- Adhere to hospital goals, values, and regulatory standards in all aspects of patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in a NICU setting, with experience in PICU and CVICU.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Current state RN license or RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges, or ability to establish licensure prior to start date.
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
- Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Current Advanced NRP certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a hospital with a Level III or IV NICU strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in a children's hospital setting preferred.
