    Job Title

    Travel: Registered Nurse (RN) / NICU

    Location

    Odessa, TX | NICU

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Hold shift accountability for providing comprehensive care to NICU patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
    • Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of neonatal care
    • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and professional development
    • Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
    • Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas
    • BLS certification required
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
    • S.T.A.B.L.E. certification required
    • Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
    • Prior travel nursing experience required
    • Must not be a local candidate — locals will not be considered for this position
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience managing high-acuity neonatal patients in a fast-paced NICU environment
    • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new facilities, teams, and protocols
