Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III or Level IV NICU setting
- Monitor and assess the condition of critically ill newborns, implementing appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with facility protocols
- Accurately document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes
- Adhere to all facility compliance, background check, and credentialing standards prior to and throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona, verified within the last 30 days with no disciplinary actions
- Minimum of 24 months of NICU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Recent Level III or Level IV NICU experience required
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification from an approved vendor
- Valid driver's license required to verify residency (Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- NICU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
