Registered Nurse – NICU (Neonatal ICU)

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU setting
- Monitor and assess critically ill newborns, implementing individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient status and interventions
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a Neonatal Level III ICU setting
- Active BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required — must be in hand at time of submission; pending certifications will not be accepted
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or a Compact State RN license required — must be in hand at time of submission
- One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty from an assignment worked in the past 12 months is required (co-worker references will not be accepted)
- No open background case findings; facility does not accept any license hits
- Locals are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience within a single NICU location preferred, though combined experience across locations may be considered
- Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Level III NICU environment
