    Registered Nurse – NICU

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Onsite | 12-Hour Shifts (Days and Nights available: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts per week | Monday through Friday with 2–3 required weekends per 6-week scheduling period

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III/IV NICU setting
    • Manage post-operative patients, including those with g-tubes and trach/vent needs
    • Operate and monitor various modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation
    • Float to other units as needed based on patient care demands
    • Accurately document patient care activities and assessments using Epic EMR
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license required
    • Minimum of 2 years of total NICU Level III/IV experience, with at least 1 full year in a Level IV NICU
    • BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
    • NRP certification required (American Heart Association only)
    • Proficiency with Epic EMR required
    • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with post-operative neonatal patients
    • Hands-on experience managing tracheostomies, ventilators, and g-tubes in a neonatal population
    • Familiarity with a wide range of invasive and noninvasive ventilation modes
