    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – NICU (Level II), Travel Contract

    Location

    Las Cruces, New Mexico

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | Rotating Weekends | No Call Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level II Special Care NICU setting, adhering to NANN patient ratio standards
    • Attend all high-risk deliveries and Cesarean sections as required
    • Float to Labor & Delivery for well-baby couplet care as needed
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based neonatal care
    • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes within the facility's electronic health record system
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New Mexico or compact state eligibility
    • Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
    • Must comply with New Mexico State fingerprinting requirement prior to or at start of assignment; travelers may begin on a 14-day waiver with supervision while results are pending
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a Level II NICU or Special Care Nursery environment
    • Familiarity with high-risk delivery attendance and neonatal stabilization protocols
    • Experience with Labor & Delivery or well-baby couplet care
