Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level II NICU setting
- Monitor and assess the condition of neonatal patients, identifying and responding to changes in status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Support and educate families on neonatal care and discharge planning
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of North Carolina or a compact state
- Prior NICU nursing experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in a Level II NICU environment
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills in neonatal care
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
