Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to NICU patients, including premature infants, in a high-acuity setting
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes in clinical status
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians and support staff to deliver coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Adhere to all unit protocols and safety standards within a Level 2 Trauma facility
Required Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification required prior to start
- BLS Certification required prior to start
- Active driver's license must be submitted with application packet
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- RNC (Registered Nurse Certified) specialty certification preferred
- Prior experience in a NICU or high-acuity neonatal care environment
- Experience caring for premature infants
