Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: July 20, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care in a 42-bed Level III NICU with a patient ratio of 3:1
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including incubators, NIPPV, high-flow and low-flow nasal cannula, PIVs, central lines, and gastric tubes
- Document patient care accurately using the Neonatal Notes Manager EMR system
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, fellow RNs, and unit coordinators to deliver evidence-based, family-centered care
- Support neonatal procedures performed on the unit, including circumcisions and ROP exams
- Maintain compliance with BLS and NRP certifications throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado (or compact eligibility)
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care NICU experience
- Level III NICU experience required
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of overall nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior pediatric nursing experience
- Previous experience with Meditech EMR
