Key Responsibilities
Provide high-acuity nursing care in a Level IV NICU managing surgical, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and neurological conditions of the neonate
Care for a high volume of intubated and acutely ill infants, including those with complex diagnoses such as Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy, Necrotizing Enterocolitis, and Pulmonary Hypertension
Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Servo Ventilators, Oscillators, Bubble CPAP, Hi-Flow Nasal Cannula, Nitric Oxide, Arterial Lines, and Peritoneal Dialysis
Manage care for patients with trachs, G-tubes, EVDs, shunts, and Giraffe Beds
Support neonates in a regional high-acuity Fetal Care Center environment
Float within the hospital system as needed, potentially to an additional campus
Required Qualifications
Active Ohio single-state or multistate compact RN license (required at time of submission)
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates; candidates within 50 miles will be considered local and local rates will apply
Preferred Experience / Skills
Pediatric nursing experience preferred
Experience with Epic EMR preferred
Familiarity with high-acuity neonatal populations including premature infants and complex surgical neonates
