    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in an intensive care unit setting
    • Monitor and assess the condition of critically ill newborns, implementing individualized care plans
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support neonatal patient outcomes
    • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and unit protocols
    • Support infant-driven feeding practices in accordance with unit standards
    • Float within scope of practice to support unit staffing needs as required
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of submission
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
    • Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification required (may be submitted with certification pending)
    • Epic EMR experience required
    • Nursys verification required with submission
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
    • Prior travel nursing experience in a NICU setting
