Registered Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Contract | Night Shift | Schedule varies, 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in an intensive care unit setting
- Monitor and assess the condition of critically ill newborns, responding promptly to changes in patient status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Accurately document patient information and care activities using Cerner electronic health records
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in NICU
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
- Experience with high-acuity neonatal patient populations
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in a fast-paced NICU environment
