Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in an intensive care unit setting
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Participate in required weekend shifts (4 weekend shifts per 4-week period)
- Work assigned holiday shifts, including either Thanksgiving or Christmas
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts or compact eligibility
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience in a NICU or neonatal care setting
- Ability to work a rotating schedule including nights and weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel or contract nursing experience
- Familiarity with high-acuity neonatal patient populations
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in fast-paced environments
