Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the NICU
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment
• Apply professional and supervisory discretion in a fast-paced neonatal intensive care environment
• Maintain all required certifications including NRP/NALS and S.T.A.B.L.E. throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification required
• S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Availability for night shifts; holiday time-off requests will not be approved during this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Previous acute care facility experience
