Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Level 3/4 NICU environment with a patient ratio of 3–4 patients per RN
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Medfusion pumps, Alaris pumps, Giraffe isolettes, and GE monitors
- Document patient care accurately using CPN and Meditech electronic medical record systems
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team consisting primarily of RNs and unit clerks across day and night shifts on a 97-bed unit
- Adhere to strict unit guidelines including dress code and infection control policies
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to comply with unit dress code: navy scrubs, no nail polish or artificial nails
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience (non-first-time travelers preferred)
- Friendly, outgoing, and compassionate bedside manner well-suited to a collaborative NICU team environment
