    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified NICU RN in Austin, Texas, 78758!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – NICU (Level 3/Level 4)

    Location

    Austin, TX | Acute Care – NICU

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Level 3/Level 4 NICU with a patient ratio of 3–4 patients per RN
    • Operate and monitor specialized equipment including medfusion pumps, Alaris pumps, Giraffe isolettes, and GE monitors
    • Document patient care accurately using CPN and Meditech EMR systems
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting primarily of RNs and unit clerks across day and night shifts
    • Adhere to strict unit dress code and infection control policies, including no nail polish or artificial nails and navy scrubs
    • Maintain current NRP and BLS certifications throughout the duration of the assignment
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted RN license valid in the state of Texas
    • Minimum of 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience
    • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
    • Current BLS certification required
    • No on-call requirements for this assignment
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers may be less competitive
    • Familiarity with CPN and/or Meditech EMR platforms
    • Experience with medfusion pumps, Alaris pumps, Giraffe isolettes, and GE monitoring equipment
    • Friendly, outgoing, and compassionate bedside manner well-suited for a collaborative NICU environment
