Contract | Days | Weekend Block Schedule (Saturday & Sunday + 1 weekday shift)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level IV / Surgical NICU environment
• Manage and monitor patients with complex diagnoses including CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, and pulmonary hypertension
• Support pre-operative, peri-operative, and post-operative neonatal patients
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient care requirements
• Participate in holiday coverage — at least one holiday shift is required if it falls within the contract period

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Experience in a Level IV or Surgical NICU setting
• PALS certification required
• Must comply with facility nicotine-free policy — nicotine testing is conducted alongside the standard drug screen, no exceptions
• Flu vaccine required — no exceptions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification preferred
• Experience with surgical neonatal diagnoses and complex pre/peri/post-operative care
• Comfort and flexibility with floating to other units as needed
