Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in an intensive care unit setting
- Monitor and assess the condition of critically ill newborns, including premature infants
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Support and educate families on neonatal care, feeding, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of NICU nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Compliance with all travel contract and facility onboarding requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Experience in a Level II or Level III NICU environment
- Prior travel nursing experience
