Assist the Director with daily departmental operations and implementation of organizational goals.
Support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the NICU.
Lead, mentor, and provide clinical support to nursing staff across multiple shifts.
Coordinate and participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Evaluate nursing practices and ensure care is delivered according to established standards and procedures.
Assist with planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care services.
Promote teamwork, staff development, patient safety, and operational effectiveness.
Support staffing and departmental needs, including weekend rotations and on-call responsibilities.
