# Job Opportunity – NICU Rapid Response RN – Texas**Start Date:** September 14, 2026 **Location:** Dallas, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 48 hours per week, 3 twelve-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays; 6-week assignment**Highlights:**
- 108-bed Level III NICU with comprehensive neonatal intensive care capabilities
- Manageable patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4 based on acuity
- Advanced respiratory support including nasal cannula, bubble CPAP, ventilators, and oscillators
- Diverse case mix including surgical patients, cardiac patients, premature infants (27+ weeks), and tracheostomy care
- Documentation systems: CPN and Meditech
- Supportive team environment with RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs
**Requirements:**
- Current RN license in Texas or compact state license
- Minimum 1 year Level III NICU experience required
- Current BLS and NRP certifications (must be submitted with application)
- Experience with premature infants (28 weeks gestation and above)
- Proficiency in central line management and broviac care
- Expertise in respiratory management including intubated patients
- Ability to float to PICU, Pediatrics, or CICU as needed; care for patients up to 2 years of age
- Availability to start within 5-7 days from offer acceptance
- Royal blue scrubs required
