Location: Livingston, New Jersey

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Every other weekend required; must work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays per unit needs; patient ratios vary based on unit acuity, census, and staffing

Highlights:

  • Work in a 56-bed Level III NICU that serves as a Regional Perinatal Center caring for more than 1,200 premature and ill newborns annually
  • NICU-based float pool position with rotation to PICU, Pediatrics, and Newborn Nursery based on census and skill set
  • EPIC charting system used throughout facility
  • Part of a 597-bed teaching hospital and major teaching affiliate with comprehensive pediatric critical care services
  • Local candidates accepted at the same rate; first-time travelers welcome
  • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period based on census needs

Requirements:

  • Active New Jersey or Compact State RN license required at time of submission
  • Minimum 1.5 years of documented NICU Level III and PICU experience in employment history
  • Current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
  • EPIC experience required
