```htmlJob Opportunity – NICU Registered Nurse – South Carolina

Start Date: October 12, 2026
Location: South Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Two shift options available: 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with no call, or 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with bi-weekly call coverage. Weekend coverage required every other weekend unless needs change. Float to other NICU units or facilities as needed.

Highlights:

  • NICU Level II and III experience required with complex patient population including infants 22 weeks gestation and greater
  • Care for diverse diagnoses including abdominal wall defects, HIE, RDS/RFS, drug exposure/withdrawal, TEF, diaphragmatic hernia, and more
  • Advanced procedures including full body cooling, chest tube management, tracheostomy management, and Avastin administration
  • State-of-the-art equipment including Arctic Sun, Jet Ventilator, HFOV, Draeger Ventilator, and various incubator systems
  • Electronic Medical Records via EPIC (minimum 1 year EPIC experience required)
  • 41-bed unit with average daily census of 38 patients

Requirements:

  • Active South Carolina RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience required
  • NICU Level II and III experience mandatory
  • Previous travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
  • At least 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
  • Current certifications: BLS, NRP, and STABLE
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
  • Competency with specialized equipment including high-frequency ventilators, therapeutic hypothermia devices, and advanced feeding systems
