Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 31-bed Level III NICU setting with a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio
• Utilize EPIC for computer charting and Pyxis for medication administration
• Adhere to unit dress code requirements (Caribbean blue scrubs)
• Complete a mandatory 7-day orientation program (Mon-Fri week 1, Mon-Tues week 2, 8-hour days) - attendance is required for all 7 days
• May float to age-appropriate Pediatrics or PICU as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Level III NICU experience
• Current Indiana RN license
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard traveler rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Comfort and flexibility floating to Pediatrics or PICU environments
