Description:
This position involves providing care in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
The unit consists of 53 beds plus overflow with an average patient census of 58.
Common patient diagnoses include respiratory distress syndrome, meconium aspiration, congenital heart defects, and necrotizing enterocolitis.
Skills required include EPIC experience, management of critical care vasoactive drips, and familiarity with various medical equipment.
The role includes performing bedside procedures, managing feeding tubes, and ventilator management.
Support within the department includes a unit secretary, charge nurse, and 24/7 access to intensivists and residents.
Weekend rotation will be required to work two Fridays and two Mondays, plus every other weekend.
Travelers will work holidays as scheduled, with unit-specific requirements for holiday shifts.

Dress code includes wearing navy scrubs without branded attire or artificial nails.
