Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) – Texas
Start Date: October 21, 2026
Location: Dallas, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Weekend requirements include Friday and Saturday. Must be available to work the facility's schedule without restrictions. Call coverage may be required.
Highlights:
- Level III or Level IV NICU environment focused on high-acuity neonatal care
- Hands-on experience with hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) treatment, surfactant administration, and PICC line placement
- EPIC electronic medical record system in use
- Professional practice model supporting comprehensive nursing assessment, care planning, and evaluation
- Collaborative healthcare team dedicated to preventing complications and ensuring safe patient transitions
- Assignment based on 13-week contract commitment
Requirements:
- Active Texas RN license or Compact RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of current Level III or Level IV NICU experience required
- EPIC electronic medical record experience required
- Current AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Demonstrated competency with HIE management, surfactant administration, and PICC line insertion
- Flexibility to work facility schedule without restrictions
- Complete skills checklist specific to NICU nursing
- Two supervisory references from within the last year
