Job Opportunity – NICU Registered Nurse – Texas

Location: Irving, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours per week), rotating weekends, no call requirements
Highlights:
- 13-week assignment in a Level III/IV NICU with a family-centered care approach
- Care for infants requiring advanced support including CPAP, ventilation, and central line management
- Opportunity to serve as Charge RN and participate in stabilization and delivery attendance
- Work with modern equipment including GE bedside monitors, Giraffe and Panda warmers, and Neomed/Medfusion pumps
- Documentation systems include Meditech and CPN
- Float opportunities available to Newborn Nursery as needed
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Texas (temporary licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of hospital-based NICU experience required
- BLS and NRP certification required
- STABLE certification required
- Experience caring for infants on CPAP or ventilator support
- Demonstrated experience with central line management
- Stabilization and delivery room attendance experience
- Developmental care knowledge and application
- Willingness to assume Charge RN responsibilities
- Meditech experience preferred
- Ability to assist with procedures including line placement, circumcision, and intubation
