Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse NICU – Texas
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Plano, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; no on-call required
Highlights:
- Level II-III NICU with 41 beds serving a high-acuity neonatal population
- Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on acuity level
- Advanced equipment including HFOV, central lines, conventional ventilators, CPAP, NIPPV, and ostomy care
- EMR systems: CPN and Meditech
- Collaborative team environment with charge nurse and 9+ RNs per shift
- May float to nursery as needed; royal blue scrubs required
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility
- Level II-III NICU experience required
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Level III-IV NICU experience strongly preferred
- Experience with micropremie care, respiratory support, and surgical neonates (excluding cardiac and neurosurgical cases) preferred
