Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) – Texas

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Plano, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; No on-call required

Highlights:
  • 41-bed Level II-III NICU with advanced capabilities including High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV), conventional ventilators, CPAP, NIPPV, and central line management
  • Nurse-to-patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:3 (rarely 1:4), ensuring safe, quality patient care
  • Comprehensive case mix including MicroPremie care, respiratory support, ostomy care, and surgical patients (excluding cardiac and neurosurgery)
  • Collaborative team environment with experienced nursing staff and dedicated charge nurse support on every shift
  • EMR systems: CPN and Meditech
  • May float to Nursery as needed
Requirements:
  • Active RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility
  • Minimum of Level II-III NICU experience required
  • Level III-IV NICU experience preferred
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications required
  • Experience with high acuity neonatal patients, respiratory support equipment, and complex care management
