Job Title: NICU RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Duration: Contract Shift: Weekend Block Days - Saturday/Sunday + 1 weekday shift Hours per Shift: Not specified Experience: RN with Level IV/Surgical NICU experience License: Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications: PALS required, NRP preferred Must-Have: Must work at least one holiday if it falls during the contract. Must be nicotine free. Must be tested along with drug screen, no exceptions. Must have flu vaccine, no exceptions. Description: This position requires working in a high-acuity environment with a diverse range of neonatal conditions. Common diagnoses include Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH), Meconium Aspiration Syndrome (MAS), Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC), Tracheoesophageal Fistula/Agenesis (TEF/EA), abdominal wall defects, Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD), pulmonary hypertension, and pre/peri/post-operative care. The RN will be open to floating to other units as needed. This facility strictly adheres to a nicotine-free policy. All candidates will undergo testing along with a drug screen with no exceptions. Additionally, candidates must receive a flu vaccine, with no exemptions accepted for religious or medical reasons.
