Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients across all gestational ages and acuity levels in a 25-bed Level III NICU with patient ratios of 1:2-1:3
  • Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Bubble CPAP, ventilators, high-flow nasal cannula, feeding pumps, breast pumps, and Alaris IV pumps
  • Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
  • Float to postpartum unit as needed based on census and staffing demands
  • Function as a team player, willing to assist during high-census shifts and adapt to changes in patient assignments
Required Qualifications
  • Active RN license applicable to the state of Indiana
  • Minimum 2+ years of Level III NICU experience
  • BLS certification required
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
  • Must wear hospital-issued scrubs; personal scrubs are not permitted
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • STABLE certification preferred
  • Experience with IV insertion and delivery room stabilization
  • Proficiency with CPAP and mechanical ventilator management
