# Job Opportunity – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN – Texas**Start Date:** September 15, 2026 **Location:** Dallas, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidaysHighlights:
  • Work in a 108-bed Level III NICU caring for the most vulnerable neonatal patients
  • Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on acuity level
  • Advanced equipment including Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, Vents, Oscillators, IV pumps, NIRS, Warmers, and Isolettes
  • Comprehensive team support with RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs
  • Documentation systems: CPN and Meditech
  • Exposure to specialized procedures including central line insertions, circumcisions, exploratory laps, gastroschisis reductions, and PDA ligations
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year Level III NICU experience required
  • Active RN license in Texas (or ability to obtain)
  • BLS and NRP certifications (required)
  • Experience managing preemies (at least 28 weeks gestation and above)
  • Proficiency in central line management and full respiratory support including intubated patients
  • Preferred: Experience with surgical and cardiac patients, care of infants under 27 weeks gestation, trach management, and Broviac care
  • Ability to float to PICU, Pediatrics, and CICU caring for patients up to 2 years of age
  • Royal blue scrubs required
