```html Job Opportunity – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN – Florida
Start Date: October 19, 2026
Location: Coconut Creek, Florida
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts available on days and nights. Patient ratios of 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 for feeder/growers. No mandatory call required. Float opportunities to Postpartum for newborn care.
Highlights:
- 18-bed Level III NICU providing 24-hour care for neonates born at less than 32 weeks gestation and critically ill newborns of all gestational ages
- Advanced critical care experience with jet ventilators, oscillator ventilators, nitric oxide therapy, central lines, ELBW babies, and IV drips
- Comprehensive support team including 24/7 nationally certified neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists, subspecialists, and lactation consultants
- State-of-the-art equipment including ventilators, CPAP, CT/MRI imaging, cardiac monitoring, and highly secured infant security system
- Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval facility with donor milk program and dedicated case management
- Meditech documentation system with supportive clinical leadership structure
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Florida or compact state eligibility
- Level III NICU experience required
- Current BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and STABLE certifications required
- Preferred certifications: NCC, RNC-LRN, C-NPT, or C-EFM
- Experience managing complex neonatal cases including ELBW infants, advanced ventilator support, and critical drips
- Strong critical thinking skills, emotional stability, and excellent communication abilities
