Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel assignment in Thornton, CO. As a NICU nurse, you will play a crucial role in a dynamic and supportive team environment, providing care to neonates in need of specialized attention.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - NICU
  • Administer critical care to neonates with varying needs, maintaining patient ratios of 3:1 for feeder growers and 1:1 for vented babies
  • Assist NNP with procedures such as umbilical line placement, intubation, LP assist, and circumcision
  • Collaborate closely with a team that includes NICU RNs and NNPs on-site 24/7, with neonatologists on call
  • Utilize equipment such as Giraffe Omnibeds and STAR GE for transport

Requirements of the RN - NICU
  • Minimum 1-year of current NICU RN acute care experience
  • BLS and NRP certifications
  • Level 2 NICU experience
  • Experience with infant resuscitation
  • Preferred: Level 3 or 4 experience and familiarity with Eat Sleep Console for babies with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome
