Description

Job Opportunity – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN – Virginia

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: Salem, Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; shift begins with huddle at 6:45am

Requirements:

  • Active RN licensure in Virginia (or compact state)
  • BLS and NRP certifications required
  • Demonstrated IV insertion skills in preterm or term infants
  • Ability to work independently with strong assessment skills and knowledge of declining health symptoms in preterm infants
  • Breastfeeding support experience and strong communication skills preferred
