Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care within a Pediatrics and NICU setting
  • Perform assessments, interventions, and ongoing monitoring for neonatal and pediatric patients
  • Float within the Pediatrics department and NICU as required
  • Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling requirements
  • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required by the facility
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license application has been submitted
  • Minimum of 18 months of NICU or Pediatric RN experience
  • Nursing degree from a program accredited by ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation
  • 2 supervisor references required
  • Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
  • Must not be an Indiana resident - local Indiana residents are not accepted for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are also accepted
  • Experience floating across multiple units or departments
  • Familiarity with neonatal and pediatric patient populations in an acute care environment
