**Exciting Opportunity for an RN in the Neonatal ICU - Nights!**
**Job Description:**
- Join a compassionate team dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in the Neonatal ICU.
- **Position Information:**
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Openings: 1
- Shift: Nights, 3x12, 1900-0700
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Weekend Hours: As required by facility, every other weekend
- Call Requirements: No call required
- **Licensure & Certifications:**
- Current RN License (eligible for licensure in Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri)
- Required Certifications: BLS, NRP
- Preferred Certifications: TNCC, PALS
- **Experience:**
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
- Vent competent preferred
- Float Requirements: Nurses may work in NICU, PICU, or Postpartum as needed
- **Unit Information:**
- Number of Beds: 46
- Patient Ratios: Not guaranteed; determined by acuity (NICU 1:3)
- EMR: EPIC
- **Patient Care:**
- Work with a diverse population of neonatal patients, including:
- Premature infants
- Infants of diabetic mothers
- Infants with respiratory distress
- Post-date infants
- **Personality Fit:**
- Must be flexible and positive
- Focused on working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- **Dress Code:**
- Scrub Color: Black (may wear Mercy Kids scrub top with black scrub pants)
- Unacceptable Attire: Anything other than specified scrubs
- **Additional Information:**
- Night shift orientation will occur on day shift, with availability the entire week
- Perform direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
