Description

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU – Colorado

Start Date: July 27, 2026

Location: Denver, Colorado

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; Patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1 depending on acuity

Highlights:

  • Level IV NICU with 42 beds serving a diverse neonatal population with complex care needs
  • Exposure to advanced procedures including intubation, central line placement, therapeutic hypothermia, and post-surgical care
  • State-of-the-art equipment including High Frequency Oscillating Ventilation, Jet Ventilation, Servo ventilation, and Arctic Sun cooling system
  • EMR systems: Neonatal Notes Manager and Meditech
  • Seasonal travel assignment with a seasoned, collaborative NICU team of approximately 100 staff members
  • Daily learning opportunities during multidisciplinary rounds with exposure to complex care pathways

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in Colorado or compact state eligibility
  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care Level IV NICU hospital experience required
  • BLS and NRP certification required
  • PICU experience for floating purposes preferred
  • Post-surgical care experience preferred
  • Strong clinical skills including proficiency with incubators, radiant warmers, continuous cardiorespiratory monitoring, ventilator management, and titrated medication administration
