Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Every 3rd weekend as needed
Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to NICU patients in a Level 2 NICU setting, managing conditions such as respiratory distress and hypoglycemia
• Operate and monitor specialized NICU equipment including CPAP, ventilators, UVC lines, and IV therapy
• Maintain a 3:1 patient ratio in the NICU, ensuring safe and high-quality patient care
• Float to Postpartum and Well Baby Nursery as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and OB Tracevue EHR systems
• Collaborate as part of a team-oriented unit serving laboring/postpartum mothers and newborns

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure valid in Tennessee (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience at a Level 2 or higher facility
• Required certifications prior to start: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Well Newborn Nursery setting
• Familiarity with Meditech and/or OB Tracevue EHR platforms
• Experience caring for postpartum mothers and newborns in a combined OB/NICU unit
