Key Responsibilities of the RN - NICU- Neonatal Intensive Care- Provide critical care to premature and critically ill neonates
- Manage neonatal respiratory support, IV/central lines, and medication administration
- Conduct neonatal resuscitation and respiratory support procedures
- Perform feeding tube placements, IV/central line care, and blood draws
- Administer phototherapy, infusions, and thermoregulation treatments
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members and communicate with families
Requirements of the RN - NICU- Neonatal Intensive Care- Active RN license, BLS, and NRP certifications
- Recent NICU experience with competency in neonatal critical care tasks
- Experience with ventilators, CPAP, high-frequency ventilation, and neonatal resuscitation techniques
