Key Responsibilities of the RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

• Manage and provide care for infants on mechanical ventilators
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for intubations and eye exam assistance
• Perform feeding tube and IV insertions with precision
• Monitor patient ratios and ensure quality care (1:2 or 1:3 ratios)
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Centricity Perinatal and Meditech

Requirements of the RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

• Valid CPR and NRP certifications
• Experience with ventilator management for 23-40+ week gestation infants
• Proficiency with oscillators and Vapotherm equipment
