Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) – Texas

Schedule: Day and Night shifts available; staffing ratios of 1:2-3 for Level II patients and 1:3-4 for Level III patients

- 25-bed Level II/III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit caring for premature and critically ill neonates
- Comprehensive NICU experience including respiratory support, IV/central line management, and neonatal resuscitation
- Meditech Expanse EMR system
- Collaborative unit with 41 staff members including Charge Nurses, RNs, and Unit Secretary support
- Opportunity to provide advanced neonatal care including ventilators, CPAP, high-frequency ventilation, and specialized line management
- May float to Mother-Baby/Postpartum units as needed
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
- Recent NICU experience including care of premature and critically ill neonates
- Competency with neonatal respiratory support, IV/central line management, medication administration, and neonatal monitoring
- Preferred: Level III/IV NICU experience and high-risk delivery attendance
- Preferred: Experience with ventilators, CPAP, high-frequency ventilation, PICC/UVC/UAC lines, and neonatal resuscitation procedures
