# Job Opportunity – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** July 23, 2026 **Location:** Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends, 36 hours per week (three 12-hour shifts)**Highlights:** - 13-week assignment in a Level III/IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit- Care for medically fragile infants requiring advanced respiratory support including CPAP and mechanical ventilation- Work with GE monitoring systems, Giraffe and Panda warmers, and Neomed/Medfusion feeding and medication pumps- Documentation using Meditech and CPN charting systems- Must be willing to serve as Charge RN when needed- Family-centered developmental care model**Requirements:** - Active RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)- BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required- Minimum 2 years of hospital-based NICU experience- Demonstrated experience with central line care and management- Proficiency in caring for infants on CPAP or mechanical ventilation- Stabilization experience and attendance at deliveries required- Competency in developmental care practices- Ability to assist with line placements, circumcisions, and intubations- Willingness to float to newborn nursery as needed**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This position offers experienced NICU nurses the chance to advance their clinical skills in a fast-paced environment caring for the most vulnerable patient population.
