Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Level 3/Level 4 NICU with a patient ratio of 3-4 patients per RN
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Medfusion pumps, Alaris pumps, Giraffe isolettes, and GE monitors
- Document patient care accurately using CPN and Meditech EMR systems
- Collaborate with a primarily RN-staffed team across night shifts to ensure continuity and quality of neonatal care
- Adhere to strict unit dress code and infection control policies, including no nail polish or artificial nails and navy scrubs
Required Qualifications- Active RN license valid in the state of Texas
- BLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience
- No on-call requirements for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Familiarity with CPN and/or Meditech EMR platforms
- Experience working in a large NICU environment (97-bed unit)
