Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Level 3/4 NICU with a 97-bed unit
• Manage a patient ratio of 3-4 neonatal patients per RN
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Medfusion pumps, Alaris pumps, Giraffe isolettes, and GE monitors
• Document patient care accurately using CPN and Meditech EMR systems
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team consisting primarily of RNs and unit clerks across day and night shifts
• Adhere to strict unit dress code and infection control policies, including no nail polish or artificial nails and navy scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Friendly, outgoing, and compassionate bedside manner well-suited to a neonatal care environment
