Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in an intensive care unit setting
- Monitor and assess the condition of critically ill newborns, including premature and high-risk infants
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered and in accordance with clinical protocols
- Communicate effectively with families regarding patient status, care plans, and education
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas or compact licensure eligibility
- Current BLS certification required
- Prior experience in a NICU or neonatal care setting
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule; block scheduling is not offered for this role
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with high-acuity neonatal patients, including premature or medically complex newborns
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification preferred
- Familiarity with NICU-specific equipment and monitoring systems
