Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in an intensive care setting
• Monitor and assess the condition of critically ill newborns, including premature and high-risk infants
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered and in accordance with clinical protocols
• Support and educate families of NICU patients throughout the care process

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas or compact eligibility
• Prior NICU clinical experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule - no block scheduling available
• Current BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high-acuity neonatal patients including premature infants
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Familiarity with NICU-specific equipment and monitoring systems
