• Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum and mother/baby patients.

• Perform and document patient assessments according to nursing standards and hospital policies.

• Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care.

• Administer medications, IV therapy, wound care, and other nursing treatments.

• Monitor patients for changes in condition and communicate concerns appropriately.

• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, treatments, medications, and discharge care.

• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.

• Prioritize care for multiple patients based on acuity and clinical needs.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Delegate appropriate tasks and monitor the care provided by other team members.

• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and professional governance activities.

• Promote a compassionate, respectful, and healing environment for patients and families.

• Maintain accurate documentation and support continuity of care.
