Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse in Mother-Baby/Couplet Care!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse, Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum - **Unit:** Mother Baby Unit - **Shift:** Night shifts, 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) - **Experience Required:** Minimum 1 year of specialty experience - **First-Time Travelers:** Not accepted **Qualifications:** - **Certifications Required:** - BLS - NRP - **License:** RN License (state or compact) **Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional care for postpartum patients who do not require ICU level care - Engage with a high-risk patient population, including: - Antepartum patients with fetal monitoring experience - Newborns who do not need NICU level of care (2000 gm and above) - Late preterm infants - Substance-exposed newborns - Administer treatments including: - Phototherapy - Magnesium drips - Insulin drips - Heparin drips - PCA & PCEA pumps - Offer breastfeeding support to our postpartum patients - Maintain patient ratios of typically 1:3 couplets, or up to 6 patients - Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team **Additional Information:** - **Floating Requirements:** - Must be antepartum trained to float to L&D with fetal monitoring experience - **Call and Weekend Requirements:** - Call may be required as per unit needs - Weekend shifts required per unit needs - **Charting:** Epic - **Scrub Color:** Blue Navy **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
